Challenge
The Problem
The client wanted to eliminate friction between having an idea and communicating it. The application needed accurate speech recognition across iOS and Android, reliable AI formatting that preserved user intent, flexible auto-send capabilities, cloud synchronization, and an intuitive experience that worked with minimal user interaction.

Our Approach
Built Brain Dump, a cross-platform mobile application that transforms spoken thoughts into polished, AI-formatted emails or text messages. Users simply record their voice while the platform handles transcription, AI formatting, recipient management, auto-send, and message tracking.
Architecture
System Design
Users authenticate through Firebase before recording voice messages using on-device speech recognition. Transcriptions are processed by OpenAI GPT-3.5-turbo to generate structured email subjects and message bodies. Users can review, edit, auto-send, or manually share messages via email or SMS. All conversations, contacts, preferences, and history are synchronized through Cloud Firestore, while BLoC architecture manages application state across authentication, messaging, speech recognition, and UI components.
